About Us

Bank Safety & Soundness Advisor is published by UCG's Financial Risk Group. Our financial risk coverage has been continuous for more than 30 years. Bank Safety & Soundness provides independent, authoritative intelligence on bank exams, enforcement and risk management. Our issue analysis and guidance helps banks avoid enforcement actions and succeed in managing specific and general enterprise risk.  Bank Safety & Soundness grew out of FinCri Advisor, an award-winning and highly regarded online intelligence tool used by bank and credit union executives, regulators, lawyers, accountants and investors. Our mission remains the same: helping financial institutions thrive in the shifting regulatory environment .
